I was brought on by Encamp to provide ongoing site maintenance and updates, but upon delving into the backend of their WordPress site, it became apparent that there were significant technical issues and excess bloat. After careful consideration, I recommended to the team that we start by addressing the low-hanging fruit to begin optimizing the site. Our initial efforts resulted in incremental improvements, but it was ultimately decided that a complete rebuild on a custom theme was the best course of action. We are currently in the midst of this rebuild and have made considerable progress, with the project being approximately halfway completed.

As a frontend developer, my work with Encamp has been an exceptionally challenging and enriching experience, pushing me to expand my knowledge and resolve technical issues beyond my usual breadth of expertise. The team at Encamp is fantastic, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with them. I'm excited to continue our collaboration in the future.
